The goal of Abuse of Power is to be a central repository of all known cases where people in a position of power have abused their power.

Individuals who abuse their power should be named and shamed and held to account for their actions.

It is often difficult, if not impossible, for individuals to use the legal system to hold power abusers to account, primarily due to the high cost of lawyers and litigation, meaning that naming and shaming is sometimes the only option available.
