John Rollason spent R20m of members' retirement monies on a (demonstrably unsuccessful) rebuild of records and he refused to answer the members' questions regarding this, refused to provide them with any information by which they could assess whether a rebuild was required or whether their rebuilt value was correct, and refused to subject his actions to independent and objective scrutiny.
John further accused an innocent actuary of being guilty of maladministration without following any objective or reasonable process, rather he was judge, jury and executioner in proclaiming this person guilty and destroying his life and reputation. Further John refused to provide this individual with any details of what he alleged he did wrong, refused to subject his actions to independent and objective scrutiny, and continued making these allegations even when all charges had been withdrawn against this individual.
In the abovementioned allegations John singled out one trustee in his allegations of trustee negligence despite his co-trustee (Gail le Grellier) being a trustee herself, and he singled out one director despite David Lepar having also been one of the directors.
